This class will cover the powers and properties of the four elements, and how they relate to the four suits in tarot. You will learn ways of interpreting the pip cards and the court cards based on their elemental association. You will learn ways of designing and performing tarot spreads based on the four elements. This class is appropriate for beginners, and readers of all levels.

Personal Tarot - Reading for Yourself

This class is designed for serious tarot students who want to develop their tarot skills. Self-reading is the best way to learn to understand the cards. It is also an important practice for personal and spiritual growth.

This online presentation will teach you good practices for self reading. You will be able to identify and interpret your specific personal cards. You will be able to use self-reading to enhance your tarot studies. Christiana will help you explore specific techniques for self-reading that will help you derive all the information you need.

Agenda

1. Understanding Self-Reading
Self-reading is an important part of tarot study and personal growth. There are many myths and misconceptions about self-reading. The truth is, a reader must be able to self-read in order to develop a relationship with the cards, and a sense of self-understanding.

2. Personal Cards
Using numerology, astrology and our understanding of the cards, we can discover cards that have special personal meaning to us. These cards help us to understand who we are, and what are specific challenges are. When they come up in readings, they offer special insight and information.

3. Tarot Rituals
Tarot students must develop personal tarot practices that aid in study and development. These practices, such as journaling, give us a foundation for our tarot journey.

4. Tarot Dialogue
When we read for ourselves, we can use the cards to actually converse with our Higher Self, or our spirit guides. This process involves asking questions and pulling cards in a dialogue format.

5. Interpretations in Self-Reading
In self-reading, understanding the spiritual lessons of the cards is particularly important. It is also important to see the many possible interpretations of each card, and understand that many interpretations could apply simultaneously. A good way to hone predictive skills is to keep track of your predictions for yourself, along with the actual outcomes.

The Four Elements and the Major Arcana

The four elements of life are Earth, Air, Fire and Water. They each have metaphysical properties as well as physical properties.

The four elements correlate with the four suits of the Minor Arcana of the tarot. They also correlate with individual cards of the Major Arcana.

The term “Major Arcana” means “Greater Secrets.” The twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana contain the most spiritual messages and lessons of the tarot, and tell the story of our journey through life.

When we learn the elemental associations for each of the Major Arcana cards, we have a clear way to understand these important cards.

This 75 minute webinar will help the tarot student more fully understand the four elements. It will provide a deeper way to comprehend each of the Major Arcana cards. The student will be able to more fully interpret the Major Arcana cards, whether reading for yourself or others.

In this online presentation, Christiana Gaudet will guide you through each step of performing a great reading. Each reader has a unique style that is developed over time. Throughout this presentation, we will focus on aspects of style. Each student must consider what practices work best for them. The sum total of a reader's practices is what defines his or her style.

2. Goals and Purposes
Clients have many different purposes for choosing to have a reading. A reader's goals tend to be consistent.

3. Prior to the Reading: Creating Sacred Space
Readings must be conducted in sacred space. How sacred space is created is up to the reader. The reader is also responsible for other decisions that will set the stage for a great reading.

4. During the Reading: What techniques to use?
There are many possible techniques a reader can employ. The more techniques a reader has in his or her toolbox, the more possibilities there are for creating an insightful experience.

5. Discern Details
The mark of a great reader is a detailed reading. There are many tools a reader can use to derive detailed information.

6. Handle Problems
From difficult clients to difficult cards, it is important for a reader's toolbox to include techniques and remedies that can turn any difficulty into an opportunity to give greater insight.

7. Ending the Reading
As you end the reading and close sacred space, it is important to know the right steps for closure.
