Do you limit your own success? Have you accepted other peoples’ limited views of who you are and what you can do? Do you hang on to beliefs that keep you from your happiness? Most of us engage in self-limiting behavior. The trick is to be conscious of the limiting beliefs we accept as fact.
“It’s impossible to get a job.” “No one would want a relationship with me” “All men are the same.” “I can’t learn how to do that.” “Bad things always happen to me.”
Pay attention to the things you tell yourself. Are they true? Are they helpful? Consider what will happen when you release your limitations!
This week on my Dark Forest blog I wrote a short piece about keeping inner peace.
On my personal blog, Tarot Trends, I wrote about the spiritual implications of reading and teaching tarot professionally. Read Money for Tarot.

Also on the Community Blog, Joanne Matthew shared some thoughts about what can happen when we interpret tarot as a group. Read “Too Many Cooks.”
From Around the Web
Tarotist Jean Redman and I are often on the same page. Last week my newsletter topic was “Dreamtime.” At the very same time I was writing that, Jean was writing this fabulous blogpost on a similar topic. Read “Discovering Your Dreams Through the Tarot.”

From Elephant Journal, here are ten steps to help you meditate.
Our September 14th show, now available on YouTube, was the first of its kind. Tarotist Mary Ellen Collins has been my guest before. This time she put me in the hot seat! Mary Ellen Collins interviewed me, on my webcast!
Coming up this Sunday, we have another new show. Jenna Matlin has published her first e-book, “Have Tarot will Travel: A Comprehensive Guide to Reading at Festivals as a Tarot Professional.”
If you are just beginning your tarot business, this book, and this show, are for you! Jenna and I will share some of our stories about reading tarot at fairs and festivals.

Christiana’s Psychic Café is my weekly webcast. It airs on the Para Encounters Network, each Sunday at 9 pm Eastern.
Your one-card reading this week is the Five of Cups.
Perhaps you have experienced a recent loss or disappointment.
Perhaps something is not going the way you would prefer.
The Five of Cups acknowledges your heartache, and reminds you to take time to grieve and to heal.
At the same time, the Five of Cups cautions you to remember your blessings, and to not spend too much time in a state of grief. While you have certainly experienced loss, you still have many reasons to be grateful.
This week, work to stay positive, and to stay focused on your gains, rather than your losses.
Be optimistic. Make the best of whatever situations surround you. There is every reason to be hopeful.
Tarot hobbyists, professional readers, and those somewhere in between, all share something in common. We all want to give the best readings possible to clients, family and friends.
In this online presentation, I will guide you through each step of performing a great reading. I will help you discover your personal style as a reader, and discuss some common pitfalls and ways to avoid them. I will give you insight in how to derive the most specific information possible from each reading.
Join us for another brand new episode of Christiana’s psychic café. Jenna Matlin, of Queen of Wands Tarot, has just published an e-book, “Have Tarot will Travel, a Comprehensive Guide to Reading at Festivals as a Tarot professional.”
We’ll discuss some of the ups and downs of reading at fairs and festivals, and share some stories from the tarot trenches. If you are a professional reader you won’t want to miss this show!
